The One Health Initiative builds on the successes of our water monitoring program - ChùNet - by expanding environmental DNA (eDNA) monitoring into an integrated, community-driven approach to health. It connects land, water, wildlife, and human health data with lived experience and science to generate real-time insights.
These insights are translated into action through monitoring systems and dashboards - supporting timely responses, strengthening capacity, and advancing more connected, responsive systems grounded in First Nation knowledge and data sovereignty.
