Our team - comprising community health advocates, independent medical advisors, and population health experts - leads initiatives spanning rapid testing, capacity building, wastewater intelligence, and policy and systems change. Working alongside collaborators from local communities, government, and the private sector, we advance Data Sovereignty, Health Equity, and the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.

One Yukon began as a focused effort by the Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) during the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing together First Nation communities, municipalities, and health leaders to address urgent public health needs through collaboration and dialogue.

Today, as an independent not-for-profit and charitable organization, we are the largest public health entity in the territory dedicated to closing the health equity gap to improve community health and wellness. We uphold these same principles - driving sustained, community-led impact across the Yukon and beyond.
