About One Yukon

One Yukon Coalition is a non-profit social enterprise that is transforming health and wellness systems change in the Yukon. Our mission is to improve community access to health and wellness resources by bringing communities together and building community-driven partnerships.

One Yukon works with and for First Nation communities, and all Yukonners. We nurture strong collaborations among communities, municipalities, healthcare providers, and public entities to improve access to timely and relevant health resources. Our team is at the forefront of expanding Yukon’s public health infrastructure.

This includes territory-wide wastewater monitoring, rapid point-of-care testing, and health promotion strategies that lift and enable people and communities to increase control over and to improve their health. We’re committed to enhancing community health responses and ensuring future readiness.

Readiness for Public Health Emergencies

We collaborate with all governments to proactively prevent health emergencies by sharing information, conducting community outreach and sharing information from wastewater monitoring.

Data Collection & Information Sharing

We gather health data in collaboration with First Nation communities to share information, mobilize innovative solutions, and improve access to care.

Empowering Change

We foster strong partnerships to help communities improve health outcomes by empowering transformative change in the healthcare system.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that One Yukon Coalition operates on the traditional territories of the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. These lands, rich with the history and traditions of the Tagish Kwan people, have nurtured their communities since ancient times. We recognize and respect their profound and enduring connection to this land, its waters, and its resources, which continue to enrich our collective sense of place and community.
